YOUR SUPPORT COUNTS

No matter the amount, your gift speaks volumes. Every dollar directly supports our mission to strengthen our community. Your generosity ensures equitable access to YMCA programs and addresses critical needs in our community. Thank you for being a part of a positive change. $30 feeds a family of 4 for a week to prevent hunger. $55 helps a child learn life-saving skills through a session of swim lessons. $100 helps a child of any ability stay active and be a part of a team through sports. $250 gives a family access to the Y for six months to improve social, mental and physical well-being. $500 provides 3 kids a week of summer day camp.

MEANINGFUL CONNECTIONS Y IMPACT STORIES

Listen to Marita’s testimony, a LIVESTRONG at the YMCA participant: “There are ways to fight back.”

LIVESTRONG at the YMCA

Dr. Muhammad M. Nashatizadeh from the University of Kansas Medical Center shares a powerful reminder: support, connection, and community are just as essential in adulthood as they are when we’re growing up.

Pedalling for Parkinson's

Levi’s story is heartbreaking, but it didn’t end there. His family, with the help of the YMCA and Eugene Ware Elementary, turned this loss into a mission to save lives through water safety.

The Y's Learn to Swim Program

Anna Anderson fell in love with football playing with her cousins. The YMCA gave her a place to play and she never looked back.

Youth Sports

“Every day across Kansas City, the Y brings people together. A place where kids learn to be safe. Where families find support. Where seniors stay active and connected. Where every generation can belong. This is more than the impact you can measure. It’s a connection you can feel. And it’s possible because of you.”
